To bring this vision to life we created a fully gamified training app, allowing Nationwide employees to experience an AR guided learning programme and keep track of their journey throughgout.

The purpose of the app is driving engagement in the learning content, specifically around the digital personas and the learning connections to the characters – making them memorable, relatable and deeply embedded into the minds of everyone within Nationwide.

We took the 2D persona concepts and turned them into fully animated 3D versions, bringing them to life with a voice and character that employees could easily enange with.

To help with the connection we also created a unique home for each of the persona's to live in and a Nationwide street for them to live on.

The experience kicks off at an in-person training event where during the presentation employees are asked to scan a specific slide with their Legendary Learning AR App.

This triggers 'Nico' (one of 6 personas they will be introduced to) to ask to be set free. By tappng their screen Nico flies out and is set free, asking to be put down safely on the table in front of them. At this point an augmented reality Nico introduces himself proprly and the AR training journey begins...

The app includes hours of e-learning content where employees are able to deep dive into the 6 personas; getting to know them personally, navigate around their homes to find out more and truly understand them and their digital needs.

The Legendary Learning app contains a multi-tiered gamified experience with participants gaining XP for every aspect of the journey they explore and complete, unlocking achievements, collectible cards and AR figures along the way.
