National Schools Partnership (NSP) develops innovative educational resources for teachers and schools.
NSP in partnership with TUI asked RamJam to create an educational game that could be used as an in-class tool to promote sustainable tourism.
To achieve this goal we designed and created 'Eco Traveller', an interactive web based game featuring selectable cartoon character avatars that you take on a journey across the globe.
Players choose from 6 different destinations around the world to travel to and get to experience different cultures and find out local informaton about what makes that particular area a great place to live and visit.

Each destination features a location specific Eco Traveller quiz, the final option being the choice of 2 items to take away with an eco-friendly option presented as the most favourable choice.
As the players travel from country to country their passports slowly fill with stamps and their suitcases get covered with stickers from all the destinations they have visited.
The game was developed to help pupils develop their understanding of other cultures, communities and the environment.
