Games to help hearing impaired children understand Covid-19 threats

Litmus Games and DeafKidz International approached RamJam to create a series of on-line mini games to educate deaf children on how to stay safe during the emerging threat of the Covid pandemic. This lead to the creation of Deafkidz Vs COVID.
Each game needed to reinforce the 3 vital messages that could help keep the world safe, all while specifically being tailored towards children with hearing impairment.

As part of the suite of games we also created an animated introduction to the virus to help explain why we should all follow the rules and to help reinforce the vital messages we were trying to imbue.

- Keeping hands away from the face
- Washing hands properly
- Maintaining a safe social distance

The three simple but fast paced games we created to help stop spreading COVID-19 also encouraged repeated plays, incorporating a high score table to try to encourage children to play again and again to improve their scores.
