Spinundrum focuses around the challenge of solving daily synonyms.
To differentiate our game from other word games we decided upon a simple wheel interface for choosing letters, with the dials acting like a code cracking combination lock.
By turning each wheel the player has to guess what specific word relates to that particular synonym. Players can guess any correct word to find out if any of the letters in that words are in the synonym and if so whether they're in the correct place.
During play testing the game evolved with features being simplified, added to or even dropped altogether, all to make sure the experience was as streamlined and playable as possible.
