One For Ten is a series of interactive documentary shorts created by Reel Nice which feature the stories of people who were sent to death row, only to be later released after being found to be innocent.
Winner of ‘Best Web Series’ at Raindance Film Festival's WebFest, featured at Channel 4 and chosen by The Guardian in their ‘Top 10 Web Series’.
We created an interactive web map that featured the documentary crews daily journey as they travelled across America to interview the exonerees.
During April and May of 2013, a team of four travelled America and made 10 films in 5 weeks during a 5K road trip. Each film focused on a different person that was innocent and on death row and each highlighted a different issue with the death penalty.
Each film was shot, edited and uploaded in under 48 hours allowing our audience to submit the interview questions and shape the films as they went. Danny Glover, Jeremy Irons, Lily Tomlin and others introduce each of the 6-7 minute films.
