Daisy Group provide IT, communications and cloud services to businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Showcasing the sheer amount and range of different services on offer is a difficult task so Daisy Group came to RamJam to help explain their world through the power of virtual reality.
Virtual reality can easily trigger emotional responses where other mediums can't. Taking inspiration from Daisy Groups online explainer video, we took the essence of what was being explained and transferrerd it into a world that the user could inhabit to help them to understand concepts more easily.
From the very start we wanted to engage users in a way that felt natural yet exciting in the virtual world.
We have the user reach out with their 'virtual' hand, represented as a glowing digital matrix of dots, to pop a floating bubble that contains a phone, helping connect them back to the real world. The phone attaches itself the users virtual hand and allows us to use it as a secondary information screen throughtout the experience.
The user then experiences 4 virtual worlds that rerpresent the 4 main facets of Daisy Group's operations. The user sees 3D represenations of people going about their business around them in a 360 world.
In the closing moments of the VR experience we encourage the user to explore the worlds more, offering an AR experience inside the VR world so that the user can look into Daisy Groups offering in more detail.
Mixing these worlds together provides an exciting way for users to understand abstract concepts and get the most out of the experience over all.
